Detailed information about our products
Cetane Number Improver
RV 100 is a specially designed additive for raising the cetane number, at cheap cost, of diesel oil.
RV 100 is an alkyl nitrate chemical for better diesel oils combustion with consequent improved properties:
- Better self ignition ability of diesel oil specially while the engine is starting, better cleanliness of the injectors, less vapor and emissions, and lower diesel oil consumption
- Reduction of the engine noise
- Meet sales specification
Recommended treat level: 250 to 2000 ppm depending on baseline CN and the expected effect
Lubricity improver (LI)
Provides protection to metal wear surfaces by adsorbing on to the metal surface through interaction of the polar head group. There are 2 types of LI at the market : acid basis and ester basis.
- Provides high performance at low treat-rate allowing refineries to meet specifications in the most cost effective way.
- Compatible with all commonly used diesel fuel additives
- Improves lubricity properties of diesel fuel
- Reduces fuel injection equipment wear and therefore improves engine durability,
- Protects fuel tank and lines against corrosion.
Recommended treatment rate: 50-200ppm
Pour Point Improver (PPD)
The pour point of a liquid is the lowest temperature at which it will pour or flow under prescribed conditions. It is a rough indication of the lowest temperature at which oil is readily pumpable.
PPD is a special solution of organic copolymer which improves the cold flow properties of various fuels and crude oil.
PPD offers the following advantages:
- Decreases the pour point of fuels and crude oils by reducing the size of wax crystals which appear at low temperatures.
- Decreasing PP of FO and CO helps to meet sales specification, save money on heating while storage in shore tanks, helps to keep liquid pumpable while transferring through pipeline.
Recommended treatment levels of 200 to 1000 ppm depending on the required Pour Point specifications.
Cloud Point Improver (CPI)
CPI ashless additive, lowers the cloud point and the pour point of middle distillates.
CPI offers the following advantages:
- Lowers irreversibly the cloud point from 2 to 3°C for treat levels between 100 and 400 ppm.
- When used in conjunction with classical flow-improvers to decrease the CFPP of diesel fuels, CPI increases the flexibility and the effectiveness of the flow-improvers.
- Has no negative effects upon on other parameters of diesel fuels.
Recommended treat levels range between 100 and 400 ppm.
CFPP Improver
CFPP improver is intended for improving the cold flow properties of middle distillates. Both the CFPP and Pour Point of diesel and light heating oils can be considerably reduced.
Recommended dosage: 100-1000ppm
WASA
Wax Anti-Settling Additives/Wax Dispersants
Wax dispersants are designed for premium winter grades of diesel and normally used in combination with CFI(Cold flow Improver).
Wax dispersants offer a further operability gain by keeping wax crystals dispersed below CP Often a synergistic improvement of CFPP is observed which helps to reduce CFI-dosage Good solubility properties make wax dispersants suitable for terminal on top treatment
Demulsifier
Helps to separate water base emulsion from hydrocarbons.
Refinery - Reduction of the high concentrations of corrosive salts such as NaCl, MgCl2 and CaCl2 in the crude oil entering your refinery by adding 3-10% wash water and 1-5 ppm demulsifier via the mixing valve before the electrical desalter.
Tank farm - Demulsifier is used for water separation in heavy fuel oil heated with live steam.
Recommended dosage: 50-200ppm
Antifoulant
Antifoulling additives reduce cleaning costs of refineries hardware, increase heat exchange efficiency of processing side.
Antifouling additives are based on a multi-component acting such as:
Dispersants
Antioxidants
Metal Deactivators
Corrosion Inhibitors
Corrosion Inhibitor
Corrosion inhibitor is used in gasoline, fuel ethanol, diesel, heating oil and aviation fuels. It is designed to protect the quality of finished petroleum products and assure optimum corrosion protection for pipelines and tanks.
Recommended dosage: 5-20ppm
Antioxidant
Oxidation of fuels leads to darkening and thickening as chemical species are reacting, forming insoluble sludge or soot particles. Organic acids are produced which are extremely corrosive. Further oxidation leads to the buildup of polymeric material which causes gum deposits on pistons, control valves, injectors and other engineering parts.
Antioxidant significantly improves the storage stability of middle distillate fuels delivering the superior stability performance needed for today’s fuels.
Antioxidants are highly effective in reducing the formation of oxidation products and minimising the colour change associated with unstable fuels.
Antioxidants contains an advanced dispersant to greatly reduce organic sediment formation during storage and to provide improved filterability with reduced maintenance.
Recommended dosage:
PDA basis Antioxidants: 10-25ppm
Hindered phenol basis antioxidant: 30-100ppm
RON Booster
Octane improver allow refiners to optimise production of different grades of gasoline by increasing RON without extra investments in production facilities.
Recommended dosage:
MMT : 50-200ppm
FE: 200-1000ppm
NMA : 0.5-2.0%
Dehazer
Fuel Dehazer is designed to resolve water-fuel emulsions in fuel blending and storage. It can rapidly and cleanly separate water from fuel providing clear water and fuel, and a sharp interface. Use of dehazer eliminates or prevents water haze in gasoline and diesel.
Metal deactivator
Metal deactivator is used for gasoline, diesel and aviation fuels to retard color and formation of gums caused by copper catalyzed reactions. Working in conjunction with other antioxidants can help meet initial stability specifications. It can also extend storage stability of fuels.
H2S Scavenger
H2S (Hydrogen sulfide) in Crude and Heavy Fuels. Hydrogen Sulfide is a colorless gas that smells like rotten eggs, it is highly poisonous. Usually the poisoning caused by H2S is through inhalation.
In order to eliminate this risk of H2S maximum levels of H2S were set 2 ppm in liquid phase and in 50 ppm in vapor. The H2S hazard brings about local restrictions in many areas of the world from ship owners, port authorities, oil terminals and from oil companies at a corporate level.
Hydrogen Sulfide Scavenger (H2S scavenger) is a proprietary formulation designed to remove hydrogen sulfide from hydrocarbon streams. This liquid product will combine with H2S to form stable, water soluble reaction products that may be easily removed from the system.
The amount required depends upon the level of H2S in the system and the degree of reduction desired.
Recommended dosage 100-2000ppm
Mercaptan Scavenger
- Reduced environmental complaints from local residents and authorities especially during loading and unloading of high mercaptan crude oils and fuel oils.
- Reduced complaints from customers and end-users especially in gasoline and naphtha.
- Reduced delays shipping due to mercaptan levels.
Mercaptan Scavenger is specifically designed to reduce the smell caused by mercaptans in crude oils and light hydrocarbon streams. It is most effective reacting with lower weight mercaptans which cause the foul smelling odor products from processing crude treated with mercaptan scavenger.
Recommended dosage: 100-1000ppm
